Instead of covering up what he’d done like so many times before, she allowed Levi to take her to the elders so she could request that the mating be dissolved for abuse. It was almost unheard of that mates would separate. In fact, no one in recent years had ever appealed for it that she knew of.Since theirs wasn’t a true mating, the elders had granted it without censure, and Olivia and her children left their sleuth.
